Money for nothing.....Ways to Help you out of Dire Straits
For some time now i have been an ardent follower cashback sites, for those of you who are unaware of their existence and meaning they are basically websites set up to allow you the consumer the option of earning some return on your purchases.
There are masses of them now and it seems that anyone can set up a pre made cashback site, however it is the long standing ones who have built up their reputation who remain on top, even so there are a couple of newcomers recently who have been built from experiences of association with other cashback websites.
My first experience was with the popular cashback website called Quidco it's free to join, however they do hold back a £5.00 subscription which is held annually from your Quidco earnings. Their cashback rates offer a Full 100% so if for example you were to join and register with the UK's National Lottery you would earn 50p for registering a new account and £3.50 for purchasing your first ticket, so here you could effectively have 4 free £1 goes on the lotto. Since i joined Quidco in July 2007 i personally have received £461.84 as up to March 2008 in cashback offers. The payments can be paid directly into a nominated bank account or Paypal depending on your preference.
Another site i have used for cashback is one called Topcashback.co.uk again like Quidco this site is Free to join and offers 100% commission, however they do have the other option of payment via cheque, which is the offer i took in order to receive my £77.24 Although not as great as the Quidco amount i have to admit i was more bias to Quidco however this has changed now as i will now alternate the offers i used on Quidco over to Topcashback.co.uk and benefit from their generosity.
Another cashback site i have recently dabbled with is one called Cashbackkings.com The initial benefit of this site is that if you are already a member of Quidco then if you email Cashbackkings a screenshot of your £5 subscription fee they will waive this years fee of £5 As i said earlier, there are some new cashback sites who have been built from experiences of association with other cashback websites.
Cashbackkings.com is one of them, The following is taken from their website
Take some time to visit the sites above and you will see that as per the National lottery example you don't need to be buying Designer Menswear from Stone Island or booking a short break holiday with Butlins to earn some small income from them, even by doing your online shopping through a cashback website could return you anything from 3% to 5% when shopping through Asda.com
Take 10 minutes from your lunch break and open your eyes to the possible potential in cashback you could receive just on your weekly spend.
Another website i would recommend to pay a lunchtime visit to is www.playthesystem.co.uk as it is well worth checking out.
As ever, this post will be added to the MoneySavingExtreme website forum for open discussion.
